Introduce yourself →Grow with OG
Landscape horticulture is a skilled trade. At OG Gardens, crew members work across garden maintenance, pruning, lawn care, plant health, seasonal work, and softscape installations. That variety creates opportunities to connect classroom learning with real conditions on North Shore properties.
We support employees who want to deepen their education and work toward professional credentials. Depending on the position and apprenticeship arrangement, OG Gardens can support Red Seal Landscape Horticulturist progression and document or sign off eligible workplace hours.
What you can build
Safe tool use, property care, efficient work habits, plant identification, and clear communication.
Pruning, soil and lawn care, pest awareness, planting, seasonal planning, and diagnosing common garden problems.
Planning work, supporting teammates, communicating with clients, and taking responsibility for job quality.
Life on the team
Our team-building trips have taken us rafting and to the slopes at Big White. They give us time to get to know each other outside the workday.
Back on site, we value the same things: looking out for each other, communicating clearly, and doing our part.

Email us with a short introduction, your experience or education, and the kind of horticulture work you want to learn.
